I'm a 25 year old smart ass with quick wit & a sharp tongue. I love music, baseball, booze, cats, roller derby, being loud, and just generally being a jack ass.
Expect lots of posts about Tampa Bay Rays, Brand New, The Wonder Years, all kinds of Pop Punk in general, Roller Derby, Andrew McMahon, Donnie Darko, Fight Club, Hot Naked Tattooed People, The Swellers, No Sleep Records, How I Met Your Mother, Disney, Lush, and other random shit I enjoy.
I am pretty sure in 2013 I made/brought roughly 200 dozen cookies to shows for bands. About 1/6 of those were vegan cookies and went to The Swellers and a few went by the way ofThe Wonder Years. Then I would say at least half went to Major League and Real Friends cause those dudes came through 4 times a piece in 2013. My goal for this year is to actually keep track of how many cookies I make and who I give them to.
When I was 16 years old and brought the band Halifax cookies as a joke I never thought it would turn into what it is now.
At 25 years old I am sitting here planning on make at least 20 dozen cookies tomorrow to take to the Major League, Veara, Stickup Kid show.
Life is weird.
Does anyone know when the Major League show at Transitions is tomorrow or how much it costs?
“Hard Feelings,” Major League’s No Sleep debut release is available in stores and online today in both CD and digital format (with vinyl hitting stores in a couple weeks). Grab it on iTunes right now for only $8.99, or head into your local shop and grab a CD (if it’s not in stock, ask them to order it for you!)
Don’t miss the guys on tour with Turnover starting this friday (which happens to be my birthday if you feel like sending presents to the No Sleep office? eh??).
If you guys haven’t gotten into Major League you should.
They are amazing.
The moment you realize “Subject to Change” by Major League has a reference to The Wonder Years in it and you kind of die from happiness inside.
